This Cookie Policy lists the cookies and browser storage that the Arcus website and platform use. Arcus is operated by DIVERGENT DIGITAL STUDIO PTY LTD (ABN 36 679 490 352), Melbourne, Australia.

Arcus does not set advertising or analytics cookies.

Cookies We Set

We set cookies only to sign you in and to run the signed-in platform. These cookies are essential. The Service does not work without them.

Essential Cookies

• sb-<project>-auth-token: Set by our authentication provider (Supabase) when you sign in. It keeps you signed in. A large session is split into numbered parts, for example .0 and .1. It is removed when you sign out, and otherwise kept for up to 400 days.
• sb-<project>-auth-token-code-verifier: Set during an email-link step, for example a password reset, and removed when that step completes.
• arcus_active_org: Remembers the organisation you selected in the platform. Kept for 30 days.
• arcus_active_workspace: Remembers whether you work in an organisation or a partner workspace. Kept for 30 days.
• x-sub-cache: Stores the subscription status of your organisation so that pages load faster. Kept for 5 minutes.

Browser Storage

We also keep a few settings in the local storage and session storage of your browser. This data stays in your browser.

Local Storage

• arcus-theme: Remembers your light or dark theme choice.
• arcus_assessment_count: Counts the free AI risk assessments run in this browser, to apply the free usage limit.
• arcus_exit_intent_shown: Records when the free assessment pop-up was last shown, so that it shows at most once in 24 hours.
• arcus-watchtower-guide-dismissed: Remembers that you closed the Watchtower guide.
• arcus-incidents-guide-dismissed: Remembers that you closed the incidents guide.
• sentinel-tooltip-dismissed: Remembers that the AI assistant tip was shown, so that it does not show again.

Session Storage

• arcus_trial_warning_dismissed: Hides the trial warning banner after you close it, until you close the browser tab.
• arcus_banner_dismissed_<status>: Hides a subscription status banner after you close it, until you close the browser tab.

Third-Party Content

The product video on our home page plays in an embedded YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com). The player loads only when you open the video. YouTube (Google) may then set its own cookies or browser storage under Google's privacy policy.

Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookies, you cannot sign in to the Service.
